There are three kinds of FRP pipe production process: reciprocating filament winding process, continuous filament winding process and centrifugal pouring process.
Reciprocating filament winding process (for the fixed-length method): In this process, the dip groove with the rotating core mode for reciprocating movement, long fiber glass with a certain angle relative to the core mode shaft auxiliary, auxiliary angle (that is, winding angle) by the dip groove of the moving speed and the ratio of the core mode speed control, dip Groove translational motion by computerized machine-electric control. The number of winding layers increases gradually to reach the wall thickness of the design. After the winding is finished, the resin in the product is basically cured. After curing, the core mold is removed from the FRP tube.
Continuous filament winding process (belongs to the continuous method): The process is the pipe in motion through a supply of resin prepreg roving, chopped fiberglass fiber and resin sand mixture of the feeding station, the pipe is in the core mold continuous progress made.
Centrifugal pouring process (belongs to the fixed-length method): In this process, the cut glass fiber reinforced material and the sand are fed into the steel mould which is fixed on the bearing, and the unsaturated resin with the catalyst is injected at one end of the steel die to make the impregnated reinforcing material, under the centrifugal force, the resin replaces the air in the fiber and the filler. So as to create a compact composite without porosity, because of the action of centrifugal force in the tube wall to form a smooth, smooth resin-rich inner surface layer, pipe at a higher temperature curing. The tube, which is made of this method, is also called fiberglass sand pipe.
